Prop Firm Payouts Explained: Profit Split, Schedules and Buffers

By Aveon Funding · · 6 min read

Getting funded is only half the goal; getting paid is the other. Three things decide what reaches your bank account: the profit split, the payout schedule and any profit buffer.

Profit split math

Profit on $50,00075% split90% split
$2,000 (4%)$1,500$1,800
$4,000 (8%)$3,000$3,600
$5,000 (10%)$3,750$4,500

What is a profit buffer?

Some instant funding programs require you to build a buffer of profit before anything is withdrawable. On Aveon Instant Funding Lite the first 3% of profit stays in the account as a buffer. On a $50,000 account that is $1,500; only profit above it counts toward a payout.

Payout schedules

Firms differ on how often you can request payouts. Aveon's payout frequency depends on the program; Instant Funding Lite pays on a 14-day cycle. See the payouts page for the current schedule per program.
